Last week I
visited a very secret spot in New Zealand with my travelmates Dennis and Kim. The Omanawa Falls in the Bay of Plenty is just a 25 minutes drive away from Tauranga.
The path has
officially been closed for public access but locals had created a path down to the falls, but the terrain is incredibly steep and slippery! For me it
probably was one of the most dangerous things I´ve ever done, but well worth the hike.
The Omanawa Falls
is a beautiful waterfall in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by cliffs and native New Zealand forest. This massive hole in the ground has a turquoise lagoon feed by the waterfall and behind the
falls is a big cave.
For me this
waterfall is the best I´ve ever seen, but take a look for yourself..
